hello telerik,
sometimes we need to insert some emoticons to the text, although we can implement this function by customization, it is still inconvenient. why not add an embedded emoticon dropdownlist, and offer us a property to set a path which the folder contains the images we wanted, it's better that we can set a root folder, if it has sub-folder, it can be grouped automatically, Please see my attach image. thanks.

Hi Big,

The implementation of this feature is easy and we have already provided a demo how to add such an emoticons dropdown to RadEditor's toolbar: Custom Dropdowns. If more users however request this feature we could definitely consider implementing it.

yeah, I know how to implement it, my meaning is a emoticon dropdownlist should be a standard component of a rich-editor, most of the editor I used have such a function . Thank you all the same.

Hi Big,

So far, this feature is requested by a few users only and for this reason we do not want to add additional properties for this dropdown as well as increase the RadEditor's script size because the main goal of RadEditor is to be as simple for configuration and as fast as possible.

We do respect our clients' feedback and if more of them suggest a built-in smiley dropdown, we will implement it in one of the upcoming versions of RadEditor.

Kind regards,
Rumen
