Hi Robert,
We are aware of a similar of the described issue when the FileExplorer control is used in LightWeight mode. If this is the problem you are referring - it has been fixed in our latest release (2016 Q1 SP1) so you can upgrade to it in order to get it fixed in your project. You can test the behavior of the control with the atest release here:
