Warning Exporting Grid to Excel

I have a rad grid that when exported to excel it gives the following error:

"The file you are trying to open [filename].xls, is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now?"

What can I do to resolve this error?

Thanks for the reply Daniel. So it sounds like there really isn't a way to fix this because of the "security features" in MS Excel. Is that correct?

That is correct - so far we have not found a method to bypass this security feature of MS Excel.
