I'm looking to implement a tabstrip similar to the way Visual Studio handles the solution explorer, team explorer, properties, etc; stack the tabs vertically, with the text of the tabs rotated at a -90 degree angle. The best example I could find is on another control vendor's website:

    http://aspnetajax.componentart.com/control-specific/tabstrip/features/vertical_tabStrip/WebForm1.aspx

    Thanks!

    Hi Matt,

Unfortunately we don't have such examle.

In the link you've posted from different component vendor - they use an image to render the text this way. However, this way you cannot select text or format it.

You can view an example of our TabStrip with vertical orientattion here.

I have checked their source code, and it definitely is not an image. In fact, the text renders different in IE8 and Firefox (not that it is a good thing, but it does illustrate that they are using text).

I'm assuming the best course of action is to submit this as a potential enhancement?

    Hello Matt,

At this moment we don't support vertical text.
We will have it in mind for future versions of the RadTabStrip.
