Hi,

I want to allow only specific file types to be uploaded using File Explorer.  I tried by changing SearchPatterns option but It still can upload all the file types.  Is there any other settings we can change for this?

Thank you

Hi Backy,

If you set specific file extension in the SearchPatterns property, and then try to upload a file that has a different extension as a result you will get the popup shown in the attached screeshot. For your convenience I have attached an example configuration that shows how to configure the FileExplorer control to reject all uploaded file except those with extension .txt .

I hope this helps.

Hi Fiko,

I am getting problem with the height of FileExplorer control in .ascx page.  The height automatically gets double of what we provide in height property when we use this control in .ascx page.  If I use this in .aspx page,  It works fine.

Please tell me how do I solve it.

Thank you.

Hello Backy,

I was not able to reproduce the problem on my side. Could you please rework the attached project, open a new support ticket and send it back? I will check it and do my best to provide a working solution as soon as possible.

Best wishes,
