HI

I am planning to install Q2 2010 version in a fresh install of Visual Studio 201o,
while leaving VS 2008 with Q2 2009 for security of maintenance of exisiting sites.
Do you see an snags with this.

To install the Q2 2010 controls in the VS toolbox is it best to load the toolbox from the dll
manually rather than use the msi which might affect the old installation?

Thanks for any advice!

Clive

P.S sorry of this has appeared many times. I kept getting the sever error message

Hello Clive,

There should be no issues or files being overwritten installing the Q2 2010 release of our AJAX components because each major release of the suite is installed under a separate folder. Your existing projects should still reference the old Q2 2009 dlls from the location you specified while the new AJAX assemblies will reside under the new installation folder.

Also, there should be a separate Q2 2010 tab under your VS 2008/2010 toolbox which contains the AJAX controls from the new Q2 2010 release, hence your old toolbox entries should not be affected.
