Dear friends,

I want my customer to add product images via grid, but not in edit mode.

grid will show the list of products as usual by using sqldatasource and user can upload images by dragging and dropping the image onto row. of course row should by highlighted to indicate to which product he or she is adding the image.

can anyone suggest something ? I could not succeeded what I tried so far.

thanks...

Hi ,

Currently the required functionality is not supported by the RadGrid control. You could not drop an image in a single cell of the control. The only possible option for uploading images is to use RadAsyncUpload control and manually upload the needed image as shown in the demo below:

Thanks my friend,

But actually I can drop files at the cells. I used cardview template to fake grid visibility and it works fine. I'm suprised nobody asked for this functionality, there are tos of guys in this forum with much more knowledge and experience tham me  :)

at least detecting drop over rows would be great and usefull. Maybe in next releases.

Thanks for your comment. Take care.
