Hi,

See attached screenshot, the wizard says OK, but it is not OK...

All Telerik files are dropped from the BIN folder.

Any suggestions?

Marc

Hello Marc,

Thank you for reporting this problem.

I have tried a couple of upgrade scenarios with the latest version of Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX extensions. I have successfully upgraded the projects on my side. With that said, I will need more details in order to investigate the problem:

  • What version of Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX extensions is used? You can check if pending updates of Telerik extensions are available in the Visual Studio extensions manager (Extensions -> Manage Extensions -> Updates).
  • Which version of Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX controls you try to upgrade?
  • What is the web site configuration? For example, what target framework is used? If there is no sensitive information, feel free to send the content of the web.config file.
  • Can you reproduce the problem with Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX project template?

Meantime, you can use the Convert to Telerik Web Site command which will launch a wizard that will let you add the missing dependencies, choose themes and project settings.

Regards,
Vesko
