Hi All,
I have a strange problem in my application. I am using the Radeditor on a custom aspx page and it works fine for some users but not for some and throws me the following error and does not render the page

Could not find a part of the path C:\windows\system32\inetserv~\ToolsFile.xml

I have placed my ToolsFile inside the below given path

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\800
where 800 is the port number for my application

Am i missing something here or is it some authorization issue for the other users?

Hi,

Do you have more than one web front end server? If you do, then make sure the ToolsFile.xml is present on all servers. Also make sure that its permissions are set so it can be read by all users.

You can also try setting the ToolsFile path without a tilde at the beginning - e.g. "/ToolsFile.xml" instead of "~/ToolsFile.xml" since you have put it in the root of the web application.

All the best,
