The control with ID 'RadToolTip1' requires a ScriptManager on the page. The ScriptManager must appear before any controls that need it.

Hi

The above error is occuring on my website.

I am using VS2008 Express targeting .NET 3.5

PS I am running 64 Vista IIS 7

And I have just installed the latest SP2

Hi

Probably better to end this thread for the time being since I have moved from VS 2008 to VS 2005 and hope that my problems will become more solvable.

VS 2008 RTM has the 3.5.0.0 version of System.Web.Extensions embedded in it, but Telerik.Web.UI controls use version 1.0.61025.0. You're seeing this ScriptManager conflict in your code because Telerik's controls are looking for the outdated version of the assembly.

To fix this add a binding redirect to your Web.config file:
