[Solved] Telerik.Web.Design.dll - GAC Required?

My understanding is this dll is used for VS design time. However, on the following page:

http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/moss-deploying-radcontrols.html

It states "If you use Q1 2009 or later you need to install Telerik.Web.Design.dll in the GAC as well."

I just am trying to clarify, for a server whose only purpose is for hosting websites with Telerik controls, and not creating them in VS, is Telerik.Web.Design really needed in the GAC? I don't have it, and have not seen any errors as a result of this configuration, but wanted to try and better understand the statement found on the referenced page.

I actually read that yesterday before posting. Based on my understanding, its only use is for VS design support as I had indicated. It seems to me that on a web server that is only running controls, all that would be needed is Telerik.Web.UI.

Is that logic flawed?

Indeed on the web server you will need only Telerik.Web.UI.
