Telerik radeditor image manage response delay

Hi all 

I create a site , then  I add  a telerik radeditor control , but the image manage can not show the libraries in the sharepoint . I save the page, then edit the web part , the image manage can show the libraries and upload button can work. 
I grant full control permission to a user. then I use the user to edit the web part , the image manage can not show the libraries until I wait some minutes then It can show the libraries in the share point 2010.

please help me to find why  the image manage response delay? Thanks a lot.

Hello Cao,

The RadEditor's image manager for SharePoint is a File Browser control with implemented custom content provider, which is using the provided SharePoint APIs for its libraries. The performance of the update of these libraries depend on these APIs, which on other side depend on the Server's characteristics.
 
Possible solution for this issue could be implementing other custom provider, which could be optimized for performance. You could follow these articles on the subject:

• Using the RadFileExplorer for ASP.NET AJAX in SharePoint 2010 web parts;
• Custom FileBrowserContent Provider;
• Editor - Custom File Dialogs Content Provider;

Hi all

I have not resolved the problem. I find when I open the page from pages library then edit the page the image manager works. but when I enter the page url in the address , it can not work. and when I open the page from a link button , it can not work too.

Could you help me to find why? and some suggestion. Thanks a lot.

Currently I can only make assumptions on the source of the described behavior. Due to this reason I would like to ask you to share some more information:

• Is the content provider a custom one or the original one that is provided with the RadEditor WebPart?
• Are you using the RadEditor WebPart or the RadEditor control from Telerik.Web.UI?
• What is the concrete behavior of the ImageManager when the problem is encountered:
  • Does it not open at all?
  • Does it not populate the files and folders?
  • Does it throw any Server-side or JavaScript errors?
• Could you try to reproduce the problem with this online demo of the RadEditor WebPart and if it is reproducible to share with me the exact steps, so that I would be able to investigate this issue locally;

Any information about the encountered problem and the scenario would be highly appreciated and it will help me to find the origin of this issue.
