My question is , i want to sort groups in telerik grid , when sorted without group , it works fine and also sorts with group when grouped but the requirement is i want to sort groups by min or max value in the each group , How can this be achieved?

We have an open feature request for the desired customization in our public feedback portal: Allow sorting the grouped column. I voted for it on your behalf to raise its priority. Also, you can subscribe to it and get notified via email for any status updates.
In the meantime, you can use the alternative approach shared in the linked item.
