Hi Guys,

You know how we get a nice Telerik menu in VS now? Well, I think it would be really helpful to display the version information of the currently installed tools, like maybe when you hit Telerik -> About. It would be even better if you have a project open to show the version that the project is using if it's different from any currently installed versions. Thanks!

Hi Greg,

That's a really good idea. You should consider submitting it to Telerik's Public Issue Tracking System. Features are voted on by members of the Telerik user community and that information is used to help determine the roadmap for future releases.

Hi guys,

I am reposting the reply that I gave in the support thread Greg started in connection with this subject:

Thank you for sharing your idea with us.

Actually you can view the current version of our UI components in your project and manage them using the Telerik VSX Toolbox Configurator.
This article explains how this can be done for our AJAX controls.

I hope this is convenient way for you to determine the version of our components you are using and your options to upgrade them.
