you will see the grey tabs being used (http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/tabstrip/examples/functionality/multipage/defaultcs.aspx)

do you have something like the blue in the top menu navigation?

Check if any of the skins available with RadTabStrip would suit your requirement. If not, you can probably create a custom skin as demonstrated in the following help document:

You can try our new Visual Style Builder control to make your custom skin. In addition, once you're done with skin you will have to register it as described in this help article.
