1) What is stripping the tfoot off my table, is there some filter doing that?
2) Is there no UI for editors to add the headers and footers on a new table...we're not seeing it? (In design mode for people who don't know html)

Hi Steve,

  • Stripping of tfoot elements from the table:

I can assure you that there is nothing in the implementation of the RadEditor control that could possibly strip or remove a tfoot element. The only possibility is if the table has an incorrect HTML, so that the editor is trying to modify the content to valid HTML source.

I am attaching a clip showing the inserting of table with a tfoot element inside and what is the behavior. Please review it and let me know if this is not your case.

  • Insertion of table headers:

There is a tool called Table wizard, with which you could create table headers. You can find attached a clip with a sample presentation of how could be the table manipulated through this feature.

Please let me know if you need more help about the stripping issue of tfoot element and it would be appreciated if you could provide me with more information about the project setup or attach a sample project isolating the problem, so that I would be able to investigate this issue further.

Regards,
Ianko
