Hello Marc,

I tried to reproduce the mentioned issue, but to no avail. I used this online demo and the captured alert is not showing on my end. Please review this screencast and let me know if I am missing something important that could lead to the problem.

It would be helpful if you could get back to me with the exact steps leading to the problem, so that I could investigate the specific scenario.

Regards,
Ianko

Hi Ianko,

Thanks for your effort so far.

The clue lies in the fact that before I choose [Table properties] I have selected the table so the drag handles appear.
Maybe this is not correct from my side, but I think UI spoken this is a common perception for end-users.

They think: First select the table and then alter the table Properties.

What do you think?

Hi Marc,

The described behavior is already known and it is related to the selection object retrieved by the browser when such selection is done in the content of the editor.

You can follow this feedback portal item to track the status of this bug, comment or vote.

You can also use the workaround provided in this public item, although I would recommend opening the Table Properties dialog after setting the cursor in a table cell element.
