Hi All,

I have exactly the same problem, but only once published?! It works fine on my localhost, I can scroll and the buttons stay where they should. But once pubilshed to the test server, upon scrolling the tabs move with it. Any ideas anyone?

Im afraid it isnt available on the live site, the problem is quite simple though. When scrolling vertically a tab stays in the same place, ie hovers over the content that is being scrolled, instead of scrolling with the content as you would expect.

We have come up with the solution!! Its to do with IEs security settings. If the Security zone is set to Local Intranet, the tabs incorrectly scroll. However, if you go to internet options and force the security zone to Internet, it all works as it should. Any ideas??

sorry as I said we dont have a live URL, it works on our live site (security restricted im afraid) as the zone is Internet, its only when we were testing on our internal network the issue was displayed. by changing the zone from Intranet to Internet, it was fixed. Im still interested to find out why this is, not ideal if you are developing an intranet :)

Same problem here. even i spoke to network guys. but it seems it is not possible. but for me even after changing to internet, it is not fixed. but it happens only on first load. if you switch between tabs and try again, the issue is gone.
Thanks buddy. will tell if any improvement. keep me informed if it get fixed

Hello,

I'm afraid that I still cannot reproduce this issue. Could you please post some simple code here which will help us observe the problem?

Best wishes,

hi, sorry i cannot share the code.. the scenario goes like this,
1 have a tab strip and 2 tabs in it.
2. In the first tab add a control, say text box whose length and width should be maximum(say w=1200, l=1200).
3 For the first tab you should get a scrollbar when you preview it.
4. Now without clicking any where on the page you try to scroll the page.
the tab strip moves along with scroll effect....

I am working on it to configure network but waiting for their response...

The code is as simple as dropping on a radtabstrip. No special settings, just add a couple of radtabs. Open the site with the security zone set to local intranet and it does it.

actually its an issue with IE, not in any other browser. Still changing the security level, it is not working.
