Support for Microsoft Edge (Windows 10)

Hi

I've noticed that the drag and drop functionality of the AsyncUpload control doesn't seem to work in Microsoft Edge (IE 11 replacement) on Windows 10.

It works fine in Chrome & Firefox.

I've confirmed this behaviour against the Telerik demo: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/asyncupload/examples/draganddrop/defaultcs.aspx

Anyone else able to confirm this? Any thoughts?

Hi,

It appears to be a bug in the Edge browser. The issue is reported to Microsoft and it has been discussed in several other forum threads, pointed in the report by Tsvetomir Tsonev as well. In addition, even if you try to drag and drop a picture in an empty Edge tab to load it, you won't be able to as the drop is forbidden as well.

Hi,

The Edge bug, reported to Microsoft, has been fixed in latest Edge version. Then, we filed a Telerik bug and we have fixed it. The fix will be included in the Q1 2016 release as specified in its feedback portal item: http://feedback.telerik.com/Project/108/Feedback/Details/177306-dragdrop-to-upload-functionality-of-the-radasyncupload-does-not-work-in-edge-bro
