I am using the RadEditor MOSS in a WSS only scenario. I tried to change the skin of the editor to Office2007 but that did not display correctly (most of the toolbar images could not be found. I also could not find any skin folders (shoud there be any?) and aI m not sure if skinning is supported in this scenario or what skins are available to use.

Hi Plopper,
Please upgrade to the latest version of RadEditor for MOSS 5.2.0 where this problem is fixed. You can download it form your Client.net account: My Licenses --> My Purchases --> RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX --> Downloads --> RadEditorMOSS_5_2_0_Dev.zip
I hope this helps.
Best regards,

I installed the new version (thanks!), and it definitely changed something:
The 'Default', 'Telerik', 'Web20' and 'WebBlue' skins work perfectly!
The 'Default2006' and 'Img' skins produce a 'Server Error in '/' Application' error, with the following message (the following appeared with the 'Default2006' skin configured): 'Telerik.Web.UI.RadWindow with ID='ctl00_m_g_7e4ee9d5_d61c_4bb6_a3b5_35af42fdb23e_ctl00_ctl04_ctl01_ctl00_ctl00_ctl04_ctl00_ctl00_RadTextField1dialogOpener_Window' was unable to find embedded skin with name 'Default2006'. Please, make sure that you spelled the skin name correctly, or if you want to use a custom skin, set EnableEmbeddedSkins=false.'
The 'Office2007' skin loads all images, but displays incorrectly (for each button with a dropdown arrow (like undo, redo, spellcheck, format remover, etc.) the dropdown arrows are displayed under the button it belongs to, messing up the whole toolbar area.
The 'Outlook' skin loads all images, but displays incorrectly (beneath each button on each toolbar some extra image (sort of separator image?) is shown, messing up the whole toolbar area)
The 'Vista', 'Inox', 'Sunset', 'Gray' and 'Hay' skins work fine with one minor detail: each button is showing a small 'underscore' when hovered.
With the 'Black' skin the whole area is bit messed up - hard to explain how it looks like (I could send you a screenshot if you like)

Hi Plopper,
Thank you for the provided information.
Unfortunately, we will need to further investigate the skin issues and due to this, I cannot provide a solution at the moment. I will contact you back early next week.
In the meantime, please use one of the working skins. Excuse us for the inconvenience.
Kind regards,

Hi Jais,
I suggest you to upgrade to the latest version of RadEditor for MOSS, which now is 5.4.1.
Here are some of the enchantments in this version
1. RadEditor updated to version 2009.1.530
2. Fixed a problem with setting the spell dictionary path from the editor configuration path
3. If MOSS table CSS layouts file is not loaded, the editor will use internal table layouts in the table dialog.
4. Added a fix for updating reusable content in WCM editor fields (developed by Rich Finn).
5. Updated the SharePoint content provider for the editor file browser dialogs. Fixed some broken file operations.
Regarding the skins problem you should know that there is no longer Default2006 skin. It is transformed to Default. Also you can find the available skins if you open the Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\wpresources\RadEditorSharePoint\5.x.x.x__1f131a624888eeed\Resources\ToolImages folder. There you can find RadEditorStyles_[skin name].css files (for example RadEditorStyles_Default.css).
I hope this helps.
Sincerely yours,
Stanimir
