Hello,

I just discovered that silverlight is no more in default toolbar (skin Web20) in Q32009 ?
May be it has disappeared before ?

I checked documentation but have not been able to find somewhere the default tools list ??
Or am I missing something ?

Thank you for info.

Hi Christian,

The SilverlightManager button has never been part of the Default toolbar set of RadEditor. You can examine the default toolbar buttons in the ToolsFile.xml file attached to this KB article: Default ToolsFile.xml file of RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX.

Hello Rumen,

Even in early radajax.net times ?
May be I am a sleepwalker ?.

Ok, anyway thanks your for answer

Don't you think it should be in next version as Telerik provides a tool to create Silverlight modules an not flash?
Automatically or via a property ?

Or may be there is an asy way to say: add/remove this to default toolbar ?

Hello Rumen,

I can't find the silverlight manager in the radEditor documentation, it is not in the full toolbar provided in your sample ?

Has it gone totally ?

Hello Christian,

You are right that there is no information about the Silverlight manager in the documentation and in the live examples. This tool was in beta for a long period of time and it has not been officially announced.

I will add a new article in the help about the Silverlight manager and provide information on how to configure it too. The configuration is similar to this one of the rest of the File Browser dialogs so you should not experience problems to add this tool and configure it on your end.

If you use a ToolsFile.xml file you can add it using the following tool tag, e.g.

<root>
 <tools name="MainToolbar">
   <tool name="SilverlightManager" />
  ...
 </tools>
<root>

You can add this tool inline in the editor too:

<telerik:RadEditor ID="RadEditor1" runat="server">
    <SilverlightManager ViewPaths="~/files" UploadPaths="~/files" />
    <Tools>
        <telerik:EditorToolGroup >
            <telerik:EditorTool Name="silverlightmanager" />
        </telerik:EditorToolGroup>
    </Tools>
</telerik:RadEditor>

This dialog works with xap files only.

A full set of tools toolsfile can be downloaded from this KB article: Default ToolsFile.xml file of RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX.

Kind regards,
Rumen
