HI

How would i share some column definitions between a master table view and a gridtableview which is part of the details table collection of a different grid?

I have been trying to do this using a skin file but I must be doing something wrong as it's not working (unless its not possible that is!)

thanks

Hi
I would be really grateful if someone could look at this as I'm totally stuck :)

In essence i would like to use the same set of column definitions for the mastertableview of grid1 and a GridTableView (which is a child table in the details table collection) of grid 2.

many thanks

Hi andieje,

Since the columns reside in different levels of a flat and hierarchical grid, using the same skin file for defining the common configuration for both grids is not appropriate.

The only methods I can think of are either repeating the same set of columns in the grids declaratively or using auto-generated columns which will build columns depending on the underlying source.
