I'm seeing problematic behavior when I set Column properties for a RadGrid via the MasterTableView's Properties dialog. I go in and set up Columns, and they're set up correctly in the dialog box, but when I hit OK, the changes aren't displayed in the .aspx file. HOWEVER, if I then go and set a RadGrid-level property (say, ToolTip text), ALL of the changes then show up. If I don't change something on the RadGrid level, my Column properties just disappear.
I realize I can manually set this stuff in the .aspx file, but I'd prefer to do it via the Properties dialog. Is this a known bug?

Hello Doug,
I tried to reproduce the behaviour you described but without success. The only case where properties are "lost" is when I changed a property value from a value different than the default to its default value. Maybe this is what happens in your scenario. I prepared a short video showing this in details.

I have noticed the same thing. I have fought with this pretty much all day. If I swtich to design view, hit the smart tag link and turn on scrolling for instance, that property never saves.

I would suggest you to review the following link describing a Visual Studio 2008 SP1 known bug. Please try the recommended fix for it and let us know if you still get the erroneous behavior.
Changes in design view not sychronized to source view in VS2008 SP1
