Can i change the "SearchPatterns" in the Fileexplorer window from another aspx-site. I use the File Selector Dialog. I would like use only "SearchPatterns" jpg, png and gif from the one aspx-site and pdf, ppt ... from the other aspx-site. Can i transfer the right "SearchPatterns" to the Fileexplorer windows?

Hi Reiner,
The easiest way to accomplish this is to pass the search patterns as a querystring parameter in the URL of the file selector dialog. Unfortunately, this is also not secure. If you want a server code solution, then you can use the Session object and store the value there. The session is unique for each user, so you can set it for each page that uses the FileExplorer dialog.
