Can Scheduler "Prometheus" be used with asp.net 1.1?

I think I read it can't be used in 1.1.  It depends on the MS AJAX framework, which I believe is only for 2.0.  But if you can get MS AJAX to work in 1.1, maybe you can get this to work as well?
