Hi
I'm using the scheduler in timeline view and want to change the header.  Is there a template for the header?

Specifically I want to include new header text and change have the full date/time display in the header (while leaving the column headers in the view with time only header value) and leave the current navigation controls in place.

Thanks

Hello,

We will include a HeaderTemplate for Q2 2008 scheduled to be released on July 22.

We have Q2 but I don't see the header template.

Thanks

Thanks for letting us know.

I have found a workaround for it.

Is this feature in Q1 2009?  I don't see it.

If not, how do I accomplish this?

Hi,

Can you explain what exactly you need to accomplish? It would be good if you can send us screenshots.

Peter, I want to be able to control the formatting of the date/time displayed in the appointment slot headings.  Specifically, I want to configure my timeline view to show only one date at a time and to only show the time of day (e.g. "8:00a") in the heading instead of the full date and time.  I don't have enough screen realestate to dispay the full date and time.

I can't send screenshots because if I could I wouldn't be asking this question! ;)

Hello Tree,

Can you try setting the ColumnHeaderDateFormat and HeaderDateFormat properties as follows and check if this is what you need:

 <TimelineView SlotDuration="01:00" ColumnHeaderDateFormat="HH:mm tt" HeaderDateFormat="MMMM dd" />
      * * *

All the best,

Hi Michael,

Date header templates are not implemented, but we have it logged as a new feature. Unfortunately, I cannot say for sure when it will be ready.

Best wishes,
Peter
