Is the ribbon bar supported in IE QuirksMode.

On load I get a "not responding due to a long-running script" and my site is non-responsive.

If it isn't supported it would be nice to auto degrade back to the original toolbar as a form of progressive enhancements.

Thanks

Hi,

The RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX are not supported in IE Quirks mode as you can see on our web site. We support IE6 and above while the quirks mode is almost equivalent to IE5.5.

The following forum thread may be helpful for you to prevent running the Internet Explorer in quirks mode: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/646742/how-to-programmatically-turn-off-quirks-mode-in-ie8-webbrowser-control

Unfortunetly the QuirksMode is remnant of how the legacy site is coded with framesets and the entire site is coded around QuirksMode.  IE, I fix the QuirksMode and the rest of the site breaks.

It looks like I get basic functionality but realize its not supported.

Just another argument to allow me to fix it.

Thanks
