I must be dense, because I can't seem to find a way to retrieve a setting from a persisted grid. I just want to know if there are any groupby expressions saved (a count or the like). I've tried many different combos - an example would be great.
Thanks,

Hi John,

I suggest that you review this online demo which demonstrates how you can persist the gird settings. As you can see in the example provided the GroupByExpressions are stored in a collection and loaded when needed. Thus the user is able to persist the grouping.

Angel,

Thanks, but we're already using the "GridPersister" class. What I wanted to do was utilize the new Persistence Framework instead.

Hello John,

I have created a sample project in which I show how the grid settings can be persisted using the Persistence Framework. Please review the sample and tell us if it proves helpful.

Kind regards,
