I understand that when I create a custom command item template, I lose the buttons that horizontally scroll the grid which I think is a really nice featured. Can you provide the necessary steps if possible to replicate that functionality?

Hello,

For convenience of all RadGrid users, we created a KB article on the subject - Include Next and Previous Buttons in a CommandItemTemlate with Frozen Columns.

Basically, specific CSS classes (described in the article above) are added to the button elements in the CommandItemTemplate. The two classes are rgNext and rgPrev. The RadGrid control recognizes them and attaches the proper handlers to the buttons. Hence, they start to behave as the default ones without any further customization.

Kind regards,
