We have a SharePoint project using wspbuilder for deployment. The assembly is deployed to gac. When adding the Telerik.Web.UI reference with Copy Local property set to true, the deployment fails (LastoperationResult:DeploymentfailedFileCopy.
Is this a scenario that is not supported? Do we need to copy the assembly manually to gac?

Hi Skaar,

I could not get it clear what exactly is the sequence of events that leads to the exception you are pointing at. Please, provide more detailed information.

All the best,

WSPBuilder supports this by allowing you to create a GAC folder under the project. Same as the 12 folder. You can place assemblies that you wish to deploy to the GAC into this folder. I believe they did this to work around the problem you described. I use it to deploy Telerik.Web.UI.dll and works fine.
