Hi,

This relates to "any" extension rather than just the Telerik extensions.

When I have installed the Telerik extensions, or say, ReSharper, my visual studio 2008 seems less responsive.  Seems to "wait" and "think" more between operations, etc.  For example, It takes longer for the edit screen to let me edit again, after switching back from design mode, adding a control or something.

Has anyone else experienced this? And, if so, has anyone found a "solution".  I have ended up uninstalling any extensions I have loaded in the past.

thanks,

Richard

Richard,

I guess this relates to the vs IDE architecture. Although ms are working to improve it, I don't think there could be a universal solution for that. The reason is simple - there are a number of checks the different packages perform in any of the ide windows - solution explorer, active document window, etc...

Cheers,
