Does anyone know the logic behind why CaseSensitive is in the GroupingSetting instead of the FilterMenu property group? Not the most important question in the world, but I think I am not understanding something?
Thanks for the response; however, I know what it does. I just don't understand why. You may ask why I care....well I find it difficult when I am trying to figure something out.
An example:
I notice that the filtering is case sensitive and I want to change that. I have no reason (perhaps I should and thus my question) to look anywhere except the FilterMenu property grouping. So, there is nothing there and I start looking elsewhere. It is not in the help file that I see and it is not under anything to do with the word Filter in the Grid properties. The only place I find this out is in the user forums.
I find it best when I don't have to look for help anywhere...the layout of the control properties and intellisense give me the hints/help I need.
So, with that said am I missing something that I 'should' know to look under Grouping for Filter settings?
Thanks,
John

Hello John,
I agree with you about the CaseSensitive property. This property was added first to solve the issue with the grid grouping and afterwards was used to solve the issue with the case sensitive filtering. Instead of adding new property we added a note in this article.
