Hello,

here's my problem: I use a radMaskedTextBox in a RadGrid to display formatted phone numbers. I set the the maskedTextBox to readonly. When the grid is rendered, I can't modify the text or delete it with backspace. But if I press the "delete" or the "del" key it deletes the text.

Is it normal?

best regards,

Laurent

Hello Josep,

I prepared a sample project following your scenario and it works correctly on my side. Please test the attached application and let me know what the difference in your case is.

Hello,

I have the same bug with your project. The problem happens with IE8/7 and FF 3.5.8.

I'm using the 2009.3.134.35 version but I see in your example you're using 2010.1.309.35, so the behavior is the same with the two releases.

To summarize, I can't enter text or delete it with "backspace" but If I hit "delete" button on the keyboard it deletes the text.

thanks

best regards

Hello Josep,

I'm still not able to replicate the issue you are facing. Please refer to the following movie which presents my local test. Note that the movie is made using Virtual Keyboard in order to show the keyboard actions. However the results with the real keyboard are the same on my side.

Best wishes,
