Hello,
I am using RadUpload (ASP.NET AJAX) control along with progress bar in my ASP.NET application which is working fine with IE 8 and IE 9. But with the Release previow of Windows 8, a number of our customers have started using Windows 8 which has release preview version of IE 10 and it seems that with IE 10 on Windows 8, the progress bar won't go away and eventually ends up in a time out.

Has anybody else experienced this issue and is there a workaround for this? Attached is an image of the borgress bar which won't go away.

Any help in this regard would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Zafar

Hi Zafar,

Thank you for contacting Telerik Support.

Currently we are testing our controls under IE10. Thank you for reporting that issue to us. We are going to investigate it. Until the official release of the browser all the inconsistencies should be fixed.

I will be glad to assist you further.

Hello Levs,

In order to avoid inconsistency of the thread please open a new support thread for your case. Could you provide us more information about your setup. Which version of our controls and browser you are using. Do you reproduce the issue on our online demos?

Kind regards,

Hello,

We are having an issue with the RadAsyncUpload control in IE10. It works fine in IE8 and IE9, but, in IE10, the progress bar doesn't fill up (just sits there idle at 0%). Is this a known issue? We noticed the RadAsyncUpload control demo doesn't seem to work in IE10 either.

Any suggestions on this?

Thanks

Thanks Peter, the issue was happening with the Window 8 and IE10 Release Preview versions. This issue is gone after the RT versions of Windows 8 and IE10.

Thanks again for your help with this!

Hi There!

I also have a problem with the radupload control in IE10.
I saw it was also not working in the online samples using IE10.
I am using Windows7 with IE10 Version: 10.0.9200.16540 and Telerik release Q1 2013

Any help will be appreciated!
Thanx!

Hello Zafar,

Could you please clarify what do you mean by "not working in the online samples"? Are there a javascript errors on the page or a server side error occurs? I have tested the demos and everything is working fine at my side. Please record a video what exactly happen at your end.

Hi Peter,

I was having this issue with the release preview versions of Windows 8 and IE10 and as I have mentioned in my last reply below, the issue went away with the RTM versions of IE10.

I am not having this issue anymore, I believe it is Pieter who is having some issues so he might be able to give you some information.

Thanks,

Zafar

Hi Again

I attached a picture from one of the online examples.
The progress bar only fills up about 10% and stops.
I also have the latest IE10 installed. I am using Windows7 with IE10 Version: 10.0.9200.16540 and Telerik release Q1 2013
Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hello,

@Pieter
Could you please record a fiddler cap and send me the log file. Could you also record a fiddler cap when the issue is reproduced on our online demos?

@Zafar
Please excuse me. My previous post was for Pieter.

Hello,

I have the same issue with Windows7 and IE 10.0.9200.16618 and it was solved by disabling FileApi Module with Telerik.Web.UI.RadAsyncUpload.Modules.FileApi.isAvailable = function () { return false; }

Damien

Hi Damien,

Keep in mind that the applied code forces the control to use Silverlight/Flash module which sometimes causes unexpected issues which are beyond your control.
