Quite simply put: When are CSS sprites going to be supported? I am currently working on a project which heavily uses the RadRibbonbar and therefore uses a lot of images. Loading all these images is currently whats dragging out the page load time to unacceptable levels, even with browser caching. (25+ images)
So ideally I want to replace these image urls by CSS sprites to reduce page load time.
Currently on version: 2011.3.1115.40

Hi, Arjen.
Even with the latest release, which is due out next week, sprites will not be supported.
However, that's a very interesting suggestion and I have created a PITS item for it -- http://www.telerik.com/support/pits.aspx#/public/aspnet-ajax/11253 -- which you can vote on. As soon as it gathers some voices, we'll consider it for implementation.
For your suggestion I have awarded you some Telerik points, which you can see updated in your account profile.
