My client needs a special funtionality where in he wants to hide the "parent - RadPanelItem"  when the child "RadPanelItem" is "expanded" And when the child "RadPanelItem"  is  closed it should display the  "parent - RadPanelItem". I'm a newbie to Telerik so any form of help is greatly appreciated.

Do you need to achieve this functionality on the client-side or on the server-side? In case you need to implement it on the client-side, you can refer to our on-line documentation where you can find the different properties that you could use in order to implement your scenario. However, you can also use the server-side to work with different items. Please take a look at the above mentioned articles that I believe will be very helpful to you so that you could accomplish the desired functionality.
