I was able to set up the RadGrid subtable's datasource, but i want the RadGrid subtable grid to use the main datagrid selection as a parameter. How would I do that? Basically, if a selection is made, how do I use that selection or something like an EmployeeID as a parameter in the RadGrid/Sub Grid and Master Table/SubTable relationship without much programming? Or is programming required and can you share with me how you did it?

Hi Brett,
If by "a selection is made" you mean clicking the grid's expand/collapse image - then you might as well use the declarative hierarchical relations as show in the following online example: here.
If, on the other hand, you need an item to be expanded when the row is clicked, you need to adopt the approach demonstrated in the attached sample.
