I have a radgrid that has X number of rows. On grid export item command, would it be possible to use a different datasource with Y number of rows(which is > x rows in the grid) that can be saved when exporting?

Thanks

Anitha

Hi Anitha,

There is no need for RadGrid to export anything. You can use the Telerik Document Processing Library and loop through the dataset/datatable records and build a document. Once the Document is ready, you can return it as a response for the Browser to download it.

Here is an example of such: Export large amount of data to PDF, XLSX and CSV using the Telerik Document Processing libraries
