RadGrid custom filter does not generate the .aspx.designer files

Hello,

I implemented your solution for a custom column filter from the link below:

This works when running it, but it has a big problem (I'm on VS 2008 SP1): the .aspx.desginer file does regenerate anymore!
I tried deleting it, and then Convert to Web Application from the .aspx file (which should generate the .aspx.designer file), but I got the error:
"Generation of designer file failed: unknown server tag <custom ...."
Once I remove this tag (<custom....), the generation of .aspx.designer file works very well.

I would suggest you to try the suggestion at the following forum post and check whether they prove helpful. If you are still experience the same issue could you please provide a small runnable sample and the exact steps in order to replicate the issue locally.
