RadFilter with grid throw error of "Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException"

I use RadFilter on radgrid, everything worked just fine for a while, but after I added more features to the grid (show/hide column, exporting), all the sudden the filter stop working and throw error on "Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.", after search I guess it might have something to do with exporting, I use external button for word exporting, but i am not using filter in the grid, I use RadFilter associate with the radgrid...any ideas?

I fixed it, it was a silly mistake, sorry..

I am also getting this error.  It only occurs when setting the filter(s) and no records match the filter criteria.  I am using the most current release of the Rad Web Controls.

Hi Doug,

I cannot reproduce such an error on this online example. Is it working for you as well? Can you provide more details about the exact scenario in question, so we can investigate further.

I've got the same issue.  It was working fine yesterday but now... .
What is my objective?  To replace the 'old' filter with the Telerik in grid.
But now when I click on a filter button, I get the error.

Hi Kris,

I cannot see RadFilter control in the screenshots you provided so I am assuming you are using the built-in filtering of RadGrid, is that correct? From your explanation it is also not clear which button causes the error?

Please provide more details so we can investigate the issue further.

Sorry if I was not so clear.  Yes indeed, it uses the built-in filter.  The error come's up when you press one of the filter buttons from the built-in.

Thanks for clarifying, however the information is still insufficient to understand/investigate the cause for the problem. I am attaching a simple test page with a Grid within RadWindow, which works on my end. Try it and see if you can reproduce the problem with it.

Hello Pavel,

The example works, no problem with it.
In my project, I saw I was still using a component (the combobox) from Janus that was making it difficult.
When I deleted that one it worked out for me.  That was the problem.
Now everywhere I want to use to gridfilter I have to replace/delete the combobox from Janus.
