Hi,

My Plan is to constuct a ASP.NET MVC application in near future.
Problem is that we are currently using a RadFilter control in an ASP.NET WebForms project and we want to keep the functionality.

Is there a way to use the RadFilter ASP.NET AJAX control also within a ASP:NET MVC 3 or higher application?

Thanks in advance.

H Jannis,

I would suggest you to review the help topic below which elaborates on integrating RadControls for ASP .NET AJAX in MVC:

Hello, the response is not helpful at all.. because all that page says

"The TelerikĀ® UI for ASP.NET AJAX suite is not tested under MVC environments and the controls from the AJAX suite are not supported in an MVC setup..."...

But there's no Filter like Ajax one in MVC / Kendo

So anyone using that and wanting to migrate to MVC would need to implement from scratch something similar.. wondering why Telerik made the decision not to port Filter control to kendo and mvc?

Thanks

Pavel

Hi Pavel,

Could you please post your feature request for a Kendo UI/MVC filter component at Add telerik:RadFilter to KendoUI and vote for its implementation? This way you will support the idea of creating a new filter widget for MVC environment.

As to the RadFilter for ASP.NET AJAX component - it is not intended to work under ASP.NET MVC environment and without a scriptmanager on the page.
