I have tried this and it appears to be working fine with me (see the attached video). In case this is also working fine with you in the demo I suggest you examine its code (you have it locally in the RadControls\LiveDemos folder) and find the difference in your setup that is causing the problem. In case I am missing something - can you be more specific on the scenario you are having:
- what is the RadControls version you use and does upgrading to the latest help;
- is the InsertCustomLink the tool you are having issues with;
- which is the browser the problematic behavior is observed with;
- can you reproduce it with our live demos, e.g. this one
