I was trying a Rich Edit box for the website. We are having a basic ASP.net page. We would like to have the contents in the page edited by the Admin dynamically. Can we use RadEditor for this purpose.  Is that a free version or what is the price for the license. Do we need a separate Database to store the contents for that .

Hi,

RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX is a standard WYSIWYG XHTML editor and you can think of it as an enhanced Asp:TextBox control. To work with it you should also install ASP.NET AJAX on the server.

To obtain the RadEditor's content with the HTML formatting use the Content server property. It is up to the developer to decide where to save the obtained content from the Content property. You can see the following resources and live demos for more information:

Live demos:

Licensing: RadEditor is part of the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX suite (Telerik.Web.UI.dll) and to obtain it you should buy the whole suite. You can find information about the different licenses here.
