I'm using RadEditor 2009.1.311.20 with RadEditor DNN Provider 2009.1.311.

I just noted that my file size declarations in web.config aren't applied anymore. If I declare them in config.xml they get applied.

Did this change eventually? What was the reason?

It's quite complicate for us to track all customizations in DNN projects and ensure they stay during DotNetNuke updates.

Hi,

The change was made when we updated the editor provider to use the ASP.NET AJAX version of RadEditor. The new editor always loads a configuration file (ConfigFile.xml) so its properties should be set there. We tried to keep backwards compatibility with the classic ASP.NET version, but it was not possible to make it 100% compatible.

Please take a look at the following KB article for more information: http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/aspnet-ajax/dnn/configuring-radeditor-for-asp-net-ajax-in-dnn.aspx
