Hi,

I am using RadEditor Q1 2009. It really annoys me!

Skins are all conflicting with each other! here is an example:

I am using ToolBar and RadEditor with default skin in a page, and using RadToolTip with custom skin in another page.

once I am using RadToolTip css file or adding it to the App_Themes folder, RadEditor is gone away with many error in rendering and I don't know what behavior is this! also the ToolBar is giving me weired things.

when I just remove the RadToolTip css file, everything back fine again!!!

I have read about the RadEditor CSS problems from many places but it didn't solve my problem!

If you ask me to mention the steps to reproduce the problem! I will not be able to provide you these steps! this is because it is just a weired thing no steps to reproduce it!

Thanks

Hello Ahmed,

Just a quick question - are you able to reproduce the problem if you simply use one of the RadToolTip's built-in skins?

When you test, in case that there is no problem with a built-in skin, then the problem originates from the CSS which you have implemented in the custom skin (rather than having to do anything with Telerik).

Please test, and let us know of your findings. In case you need more help, but cannot provide us with steps to reproduce, my suggestion is to zip your project and send it to us in a support ticket to examine it locally.

Sincerely yours,

I have used the built in now and the error persists!

should I have delete the ToolTip.Hay.Css from the app_themes folder?

Hello Ahmed,

Yes, you should remove the ToolTip.Hay.Css from the App_Themes folder because even if you have not linked the stylesheet on the page, your theme might set it to the control. Let us know whether this fixes the issue and in case it does not - provide more information and also more detailed explanations of the exact result you get.

Note, also that the forums are considered community resources an din case you want to make sure that you will get a timely response from us, you should consider buying a support package - to get  more information about different options, please contact sales@telerik.com.

All the best,
Svetlina
