Hello,
We are using the radeditor as the field editor for some of our fields and we just noticed that when you edit a page, the editor is locked by default. If I click on the HTML mode button and back to WYSIWYG button then the control is editable again. We have recently downgraded from 5.3.2 because the production server is already running 2 other projects with 4.5.4. This issue wasn't occurring in the 5.3.2 version
Thanks

Hi,

We are not sure what is the cause for this issue. Does it happen on all browsers or only specific ones (e.g. problem in Firefox but not on IE)? Have you noticed a JavaScript error when the page is loading? Does the problem happen with specific content in the editor (e.g. no problem when editor is empty) or always? If possible, open a formal support ticket and send us a screenshot of the browser with the problem visible and the HTML output of the page (view source from the browser menu). Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Kind regards,
Lini

Hi Kim,

RadEditor for MOSS has been discontinued almost a year ago and it is not supported anymore. It is very likely that issues with new browsers like IE11 arise and this to be the cause for the problems. I advise that you examine this blog post to see if you can change it to use the newest RadEditor as base, but please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee (satisfactory) results: http://blogs.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/posts/12-08-20/radeditor-for-moss-sharepoint-2007-discontinued-as-of-q2-2012.aspx.
