Hi all,

With Firefox 3.0.16 recent update, I have found a strange issue using RadDatepicker. When typing "020202" in the dateinput and then press tab to exit the input, with Firefox 3.0.16 the input "020202" is not parsed and is not replaced with the desired string : "2/2/2002". The behavior can be seen on Telerik demo site here. This scenario works with IE and FF 3.5.6. If anybody has a workaround for this, it will be greatly appreciated.

Bye,

Morgan

Hi Morgan,

I just tested the scenario with FF 3.0.16 and it seems to be working as expected on my end. You can find attached to this message a video illustrating the behavior. Let me know if I am missing something or what may be different in your case.

Best wishes,
Pavel

Hello Pavel,

Thanks for the quick answer. The problem is hard to reproduce on my side now (I've done a system reboot since my post). But I've been able to reproduce it 5 minutes ago. I am using the following languages in FF 3.0.16 from top to bottom fr, fr-fr; en, en-us. I've reproduced the problem using fr-fr but it seems like there is no consistent scenario to reproduce the issue :(.

I am using Firebug but in suspended state when reproducing and I am hitting ctrl+F5 to restart scenario.
This issue happens on the web application I am working on a screen with the following features : RadWindow / Shared calendars / Ms Asp.Net Browser history / Required field validator on a specific RadDatePicker and it seems that the issue happens more frequently....

Bye

Hello Morgan,

I am afraid I still cannot reproduce the problem. Can you specify how often does it occur on your end and are there any specific steps that are required to make the problem appear? You can also paste the relevant markup so I can test it on my end.

All the best,
Pavel
