I believe you can use the RadDataPager with any DataBinding control. So I would assume you can use it with the RadGrid.

Hello,

RadDataPager can be used with controls, which implement the IPageableItemContainer or IRadPageableItemContainer interface. Such controls include the RadListView and MS ListView, however, RadGrid does not implement such interfaces.

http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/datapageroverview.html

We have researched opportunities to support integration between RadGrid and RadDataPager, but there are problems when the viewstate is disabled, so for now we have given up the idea.

Hi Riccardo,

RadGrid provides its own Paging functionality which has a lot of built-in capabilities and modes:
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/functionality/paging/basic-paging/defaultcs.aspx

There are no plans to change this behavior.
