I am trying to obtain an old Telerik release:

RadControls_Q3_2007_SP2

I no longer have an active subscription, but I previously used Telerik products in the past.

Could you please let me know:

  • Is it still possible to access or restore this archived version?

  • If older account or purchase information is available, what would the process be to regain access?

  • What information would be required to verify eligibility?

This request is for maintenance of a legacy application that still depends on this specific version and contains a significant amount of legacy code.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sysy,

Thank you for reaching out and for being a Telerik customer.

We understand the challenges of maintaining legacy applications, and we appreciate you explaining your situation.

However, we are unable to provide access to RadControls Q3 2007 SP2 or other legacy versions that predate our security baseline. Versions released prior to R1 2020 (2020.1.114) are affected by multiple critical security vulnerabilities (including CVE-2017-9248, CVE-2017-11317, CVE-2017-11357, and CVE-2019-18935 and other), and redistributing them would put your application and its users at serious risk.

For this reason, we do not provide downloads of old vulnerable versions as outlined in our Old Versions Support Policy.

What we recommend:

  • Upgrade to a current supported version 2026.1.421— you can find detailed upgrade instructions to help you transition smoothly.
  • Renew your subscription — This would give you access to the latest secure releases, dedicated technical support, and upgrade assistance.
  • Contact our Sales team — If you need help with licensing options or have questions about renewal, our Sales team can assist: Contact Us.

We strongly advise against running applications on a 2007-era release in any environment, especially one accessible over the network, due to the well-documented and actively exploited vulnerabilities in those versions.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need further assistance.

Regards,
Rumen
