RadCombobox Ajax does not show selectedvalue property

For some reason my RadComboBox does not display the very well-known selectedvalue property.
If this property is not available, what is the work-around for biding my datasource results to the RadCombobox

The SelectedValue property is available and you can use it.
Could you please explain your implementation in details and provide us runnable code that reproduces the issue?
Maybe you use Load-On-Demand feature?

I notice that it wasnt part of the property list, however I was able to use it.
